Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "A. CONRAD. / SHINNSTON, / W. VA.," circa 1875, slender, tapered jar with rounded wax sealer rim, the front featuring A. Conrad maker's stenciling with stenciled scrollwork at the center. Small base chips. 1 1/4" surface line from rim on front. 2 1/2" hairline from rim on reverse. H 8 3/8".
