Rare One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Inscribed "GLAZED," Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / SUCCESSORT TO / JAS / HAMILTON & CO / GREENSBORO. PA," circa 1880, semi-ovoid jug with tooled spout and freehand cobalt stripe decoration, the front with desirable "T.F. REPPERT / SUCCESSOR TO" stenciling above the highly unusual stenciled inscription "GLAZED". Restored handle. Otherwise excellent condition.
