Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / GREENSBORO. PA.," circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, featuring T.F. Reppert maker's stenciling surrounding a stenciled sunrise motif. Shoulder and base with freehand stripes, the base additionally decorated with a freehand "2" flanked by flourishes. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some fairly inicuous fry to areas of cobalt.
