Unusual Diminutive Glazed Redware, Incised on Underside "Yorktown / Nov. 4, 1918", cylindrical jar with tooled midsection and semi-rounded rim, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze with crude yellowish mottling. Presumably made by an early 20th century potter active in Yorktown, VA. Small glaze flakes. A few lines in glaze only. H 5".
