Two Pieces of Rockingham-Glazed Pottery, New Jersey and Pennsylvania origin, second half 19th century, a molded Federal eagle pitcher, attributed to the Eagle Pottery, of W.H.P. Benton, Perth Amboy, NJ, circa 1858-1865; paired with a tankard pitcher with metal lid and bail handle, the underside with impressed mark, "JEFFORDS & CO. / PHILADELPHIA", surrounded by an 1869 patent date. Eagle pitcher with a shallow spout chip adjacent to a minor spout nick, a minor stone ping on side of rim, and a minor base nick. Other pitcher in excellent condition. H (of Eagle pitcher) 9 1/2".
