Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Butter or Cake Crocks, attributed to Thomas Haig, Jr., Philadelphia, PA, second half 19th century, both with whitish Bristol-type glaze, a smaller example with cobalt swag decoration and a larger, handled example with floral decoration on the front and reverse. Tiny chips to rim of smaller crock. Larger crock in excellent, essentially as-made condition.
