Extremely Rare Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Inscribed "W", Stamped "BROWN BROTHER / HUNTINGTON / L.I.," circa 1870-1885, ovoid pitcher with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim molding, and ribbed handle, decorated with a brushed design of crosed flowers above the letter "W". Exceptional form, size, and condition. Provenance: Donald Matties Collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 12 1/4".
