Cold-Painted Stoneware Figure of a Sheep, possibly Midwestern, late 19th century, molded in the form of a bleating sheep, reclining atop an oval base with white-and-red cold-painted surface. 1/2" hole behind sheep's front leg on reverse. Ear on reverse missing, lost before sheep was painted. Wear to paint. L 10" ; H 8 3/8".
