Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decoration, attributed to Brady & Ryan, Ellenville, NY, circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, large semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a chicken with spotted body pecking kernels of corn from a stylized ground. Restoration to surface on front and reverse, not involving decoration. Shallow chips on interior of rim.
