Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "N.A. WHITE & CO BINGHAMTON," New York State origin, circa 1870, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a bird with striped body and long tail, perched on a leafy vine. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Fry to cobalt. A minor surface line in spout.
