Three-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WM. E. WARNER. / WEST TROY," New York State origin, circa 1850, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a plant bearing spotted tulip blossoms or strawberries. Light cobalt accents to maker's mark and capacity mark. A few base chips, one with a faint 2 1/4" extending horizontally from it, not visible on interior. A small chip to each handle. A 1 1/4" rim chip on side of jar.
