Two Stoneware Jugs with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "E. & L. P. NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT.," circa 1870, both of two-gallon capacity with similar slip-trailed leaf motifs, accented with spots. Heavy staining to both. One with black-painted inscription to underside and a salt drip to reverse. The other with small spout chips, a tiny line in spout, and a salt drip at base.
