Two-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "BULLARD & SCOTT, / CAMBRIDGEPORT, MASS," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a leaf accented with spots. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. An approximately 3" diaogonal crack from rim. Small rim chips. A thin stripe of staining to reverse.
