Two One-Gallon Lyons, New York Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Decoration, second quarter 19th century, both of similar ovoid form, one stamped "N CLARK & CO / LYONS" with freehand cobalt "1", the other stamped "LYONS" with freehand cobalt "1" abvove a stylized foliate design. Clark jar with rim chips and a faint 2" surface line on side of jar. Other jar in excellent condition with a minor chip to inner rim.
