Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with four cobalt spitting tulips extending from a central stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Restored handle. Additional restoration to much of spout and some restoration to shoulder area.
