One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "TYLER & DILLON / ALBANY," New York State origin, circa 1825-1834, highly-ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a lightly-brushed cobalt "1" and cobalt highlights to the maker's mark. Very nice condition with two minor base nicks, two small in-the-firing flaws to body, and some staining.
