Two Rare New York State Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Decoration, 19th century, a three-gallon ovoid jar with cobalt leaf decoration, stamped "SELBY COLSON & SANDERSON / PO'KEEPSIE, NY", paired with a two-gallon ovoid jar with cobalt script "2", marked "J. & S. HART / OSWEGO FALLS". Poughkeepsie jar with fry to cobalt, some minor rim nicks, and some large faint surface lines on one side, not visible on the interior and possibly in-the-firing. Oswego Falls jar with very large U-shaped crack on reverse, large flakes to reverse, two adjacent reglued pieces at rim, measuring a total of 3" and including a flake along one crack line, and a few rim chips.
