Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, probably J.M. Pruden, Elizabethtown, NJ, mid 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a finely-slip-trailed design of a tulip on the front, and a script "2" with flourish on reverse. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some bubbling to Albany slip on interior.
