Two Slip-Decorated Redware Plates, Pennsylvania origin, 19th century, one with coggled edge and curving trail of yellow slip over a manganese ground, paired with a larger plate with curved and straight trails of yellow slip. Smaller plate with small rim chips and light rim wear. Larger plate with flaking and wear to interior, wear and a small chip to rim, and a 2 3/8" hairline from rim. Diameter (of smaller plate) 7 3/8".
