Three Stoneware Crocks, American, 19th century, a two-gallon crock with tulip plant design, stamped "H. PURDY", Henry Purdy, Ohio origin; a two-gallon crock with slip-trailed rooster design, attributed to N.A. White & Son, Utica, NY; and a two-gallon crock with floral design, stamped "M. WOODRUFF / CORTLAND", New York State origin. Purdy crock with 6 1/4" hairline from rim, a 4 1/2" hairline from rim on reverse, and a chip on interior of rim. Rooster crock missing one handle, shallow chipping to opposite handle, crack, iron wire around rim, 1 1/2" rim chip, smaller rim chip, and a few flakes to surface. Woodruff crock with a crack from rim on front and reverse, a 3" hairline from rim, and tape around rim.
