Four Salt-Glazed Stoneware Articles, Northeastern U.S. origin, primarily 19th century, an inkwell with heavy incised banding on the sides and top, 18th or early 19th century; a blob-top bottle with cobalt-highlighted mark "J FRANCIS / HOP BEER"; a molded flask, embossed "PAT AUG 11 1891"; and a miniature jug with cobalt-highlighted mark "M F ARMSTRONG & CO / 104 CANAL ST / BOSTON MASS". Inkwell with several chips. Bottle with a few base chips, a hole in underside, restoration to spout, and traces of old paint. Flask in excellent condition with a small, faint spider line on underside. Jug missing handle, with shallow base chip. H (of miniature jug) 4 1/2".
