One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled accents to body and collar, decorated with two brushed tulips flanking leafy brushwork. Collar decorated with large leaves. Two horizontal hairlines in handle. Professional restoration to spout. Several short lines from rim. Long restored crack on reverse, connecting to a tight, partially-colored Y-shaped crack on underside. Small base chips.
