Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Baltimore, MD origin, 19th century, a one-and-a-half-gallon cylindrical jar with large tulip decoration repeated three times around the body, attributed to Peter Herrmann, circa 1880, paired with a half-gallon jar with tulip decoration. Herrmann jar with shallow 2 1/2", in-the-firing sliver off base, a second small, in-the-firing base chip, and a few shallow rim chips. Half-gallon jar with chips to bottom edge and chipping to rim.
