Five Utilitarian Articles, Primarily Redware, American and European origin, primarily 19th century, an English slip-decorated puzzle mug with slogan and 1834 date on handle; an English, North Devon sgraffito-decorated pitcher with birds flanking a cross within a wreath, along with other elaborate foliate decoration; a redware batter pitcher with manganese decoration, American; an ovoid jug with slip-decorated circle motifs, European; and a pinched pottery flask, possibly North Carolina, second quarter 19th century. Pitcher with rim chips, a few minor base chips, and a 1" chip to side of handle. Puzzle mug with one restored spout and a base chip. Batter pitcher with small base chip and two minor rim chips. Ovoid jug with significant flaking and wear to spout. Flask in excellent condition. H (of pitcher) 10".
