Three New York State Stoneware Jars, 19th century, a two-gallon jar with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "E.A. MONTELL / OLEAN NY," including Albany-slip-glazed lid; a two-gallon jar with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "E.H. FARRAR / NORTH BAY"; and a two-gallon jar with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "GEDDES NY". Montell jar with 4" surface line to shoulder, a 1 1/4" surface line at end of left handle, a 3" star-shaped line extending from a small chip or stone ping on reverse, and staining to surface. North Bay jar missing one handle, with large wide crack extending from underside up reverse, a 1 1/4" rim chip, a few minor nicks on interior of rim, and two 2" horizontal lines below terminals of one handle. Geddes jar with some staining, a 1 1/4" shallow chip to one handle, a 1 1/2" hairline above one handle, a few tight lines on one side, some minor chips on interior of rim, wear to inner rim where a lid would rest, and light exfoliation to base.
