Two Pieces of Glazed Redware, Pennsylvania origin, 19th century, an unusual ovoid jar with coiled clay around handles, the surface decorated with daubs of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze, probably PA origin; paired with a tapered flowerpot with splashed manganese and clear lead glaze. Jar with rim chips, small amount of wear to shoulder, and damage to clay coils at handles. Flowerpot with some rim chip and a short, tight line from rim. H (of jar) 6 3/4".
