Four Pieces of Glazed Redware, probably Connecticut, second quarter 19th century, a flask, two cylindrical jars, and a bowl, all with manganese daubs over a reddish ground. A nice group of similarly-glazed articles. Flask with some typical spout wear, a small base chip, a short in-the-firing line at base, and a small flake to side. Smaller jar with rim chip, wear to rim and shoulder, and light wear to surface. Larger jar with wear to rim and shoulder, light surface wear, a contact mark to side, and base chips. Bowl with with several base chips, a few rim chips, a small flake to side, and some flakes to interior. H (of flask) 7 7/8" ; Diameter (of bowl) 10 7/8" ; H (of bowl) 4".
