Unusual Large-Sized Stoneware Ring Flask with Snake Handle, Southern U.S. origin, late 19th or early 20th century, wheel-thrown flask with tall spout, applied eliptical base, and pulled handle in the form of a folky snake with incised mouth and eyes. Surface covered in a streaky brown glaze. A base chip and two minor base nicks. Small glaze flake to shoulder. Glaze flake to snake's nose. H 13 1/4".
