Group of Three Stoneware and Redware Jugs, possibly Tennessee, 19th century, a miniature, lead-glazed redware jug with tooled shoulder and ribbed handle, probably Great Road, Tennessee origin; a quart-size stoneware jug with tooled shoulder and iron-dipped surface, possibly Tennessee; and a half-gallon jug with cobalt-decorated handle terminals, Virginia or Tennessee origin. Provenance: All found in Eastern Tennessee. Redware jug with handle broken and reglued upside-down, flaking to surface, a few base chips, and a crack in base. Quart-sized jug with reglued handle, base chips, and a Y-shaped crack on in underside, which extends up front to shoulder area, as well as onto base. Largest jug with tiny base nick, minor spout nick, light wear to handle, and a few contact marks to shoulder. H (of redware jug) 5 1/2".
