Two Pennsylvania Stoneware Jars, circa 1870, a one-gallon cream jar with tulip vine design, attributed to D.P. Shenfelder, Reading, PA, paired with a one-gallon jar with large cobalt leaf decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA. Unsigned Shenfelder jar with 3" hairline from rim, two small chips on exterior of rim, and a few very minor nicks on interior of rim. Unsigned Remmey jar with 1 3/8" rim chip, a smaller rim chip with short line descending from it, and a minor chip to bottom edge.
