Shenandoah Valley Redware Cream Pitcher, attributed to J. Eberly & Co. or S. Bell & Sons, Strasburg, VA, late 19th century, ovoid pitched with pronounced foot, flared collar, and ribbed handle, the surface decorated with traces of cream-colored slip and streaks of manganese, covered in a clear lead glaze over an orange and olive ground. Rarely-found excellent condition with only minor base wear. H 6 3/4".
