Slip-Decorated Redware Bowl, possibly Hagerstown, MD, circa 1800-1830, tapered bowl with footed base and tall, stepped rim molding in the Hagerstown style. Interior decorated with bands of manganese slip overlain with a scalloped cream-colored slip stripe accented with sea-green drips of copper slip. Thin 4" crack from rim. Rim chips. Wear to slip and interior surface. Two very minor shallow chips to underside. H 3 3/8" ; Diameter 13 1/2".
