Half-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, ovoid jar with tapered body, decorated with four brushed cobalt stripes. Shallow 1 1/8" chip on interior of rim. Minor chip on interior of rim. Additional wear to rim. 1 1/2" surface line at base on reverse, not visible on interior. Two chips to bottom edge on underside.
