One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Northeastern U.S. origin, possibly Massachusetts, third quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with tall collar and tooled, semi-squared rim molding, the front decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt wreath surrounded by spots. 8" spider crack on one side, continuing 1" onto underside. Restored 1 1/4" section to rim. 1" surface line to left of spout. 1" surface line at base. Small glazed-over base chip.
