Scarce Pottery Lion Doorstop, Stamped "MOORE CERAMICS / UHRICHSVILLE, OH," early 20th century, molded figure of a reclining lion on rectangular base, the figure with heavily-incised detail to mane, face, paws, body, and tail. Surface covered in a cream-colored Bristol slip glaze. Underside impressed "MOORE CERAMICS / UHRICHSVILLE, OH". Cracks in left front corner of base. Some additional thin cracks or hairlines to lion. L 10 1/4" ; H 6 3/4".
