Two Six-Gallon Stoneware Crocks, American, second half 19th century, both of similar cylindrical form, one with impressed and cobalt-highlighted swan and eagle motifs, stamped "GARDINER STONEWARE / MANUFACTORY / GARDINER, ME"; paired with a six-gallon Ohio crock with stenciled design of a Federal eagle holding a banner inscribed "E PLURIBUS UNUM". Gardiner crock with significant exfoliation, a chip on interior and exterior of rim, and large chips to edge of underside. Ohio crock with significant restoration.
