Two Pieces of New Jersey Stoneware, second half 19th century, a three-gallon jug with cobalt foliate decoration, stamped "A.J. BUTTLER / MANUFACTERUR (sic) / NEW-BRUNSWICK, N.J.;" paired with a two-gallon crock with abstract cobalt tulip decoration, stamped "JM. PRUDEN / ELIZABETH-NJ". Buttler jug with reglued piece to spout, other spout chips, a hairline to spout area, a minor nick to handle, and a stone ping to front. Pruden crock with a crack under one handle, extending onto underside, where it forms hairlines, as well as two rim chips and some minor rim nicks.
