Lot of Two: Stoneware and Redware Jars, Pennsylvania origin, 19th century, a half-gallon cylindrical jar with cobalt hanging tulip decoration, attributed to the Remmey pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865; paired with a cylindrical redware jar with daubed manganese decoration, Pennsylvania origin, second or third quarter 19th century. Remmey jar with two top-to-bottom cracks which join and extend as a single crack across underside and a 1/2" up reverse. Redware jar with wear to rim, two short lines from rim, light wear to shoulder, and a minor chip near edge on underside.
