Rare Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Stamped "MILLER & DAVISON / STRASBURG, VA," circa 1880, semi-ovoid pitcher with slightly flaring base, decorated with a two-stemmed clover plant on the front and leafy brushwork flanking the spout. Cobalt circles also brushed around the handle terminals. A scarce maker's mark representing the partnership of potters, George W. Miller and George Henry Davidson.
