Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1870, a one-gallon jug, stamped "J. FISHER. LYONS, NY," with slip-trailed cobalt advertising for "Aug. Morsch & Sons / 935 Broadway;" paired with a three-gallon crock with cobalt foliate decoration, stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO. / WORCESTER, MASS.". Jug with two base chips and some minor base nicks, some light exfoliation to surface, and a tiny nick to interior of spout. Crock with a glazed-over stone ping to front, otherwise excellent condition.
