Two-Gallon Buffalo, NY Stoneware Advertising Jug, Stamped "LYONS CO-OPERATIVE POTTERY CO. LIMITED," New York State origin, late 19th century, cylindrical jug with semi-squared spout, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising "2. / H.S. Hubbard & Co / 263 & 265 / Washington St / Buffalo / N.Y". Large, sealed star-shaped crack on reverse, with one crack extending off of this damage around side of jug through the initials "N.Y.". Minor spout wear. Two small chips to handle. Two small, shallow base chips.
