Diminutive Glazed Redware Bowl, possibly Connecticut origin, early 19th century, finely-potted bowl with narrow foot, rounded sides, and flattened rim, decorated with sponged daubs on manganese on exterior and interior over a reddish-brown ground. Interior and exterior surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Excellent condition with two shallow base chips and a minor nick to underside of rim. H 3 3/8" ; Diameter 7 5/8".
