Glazed Redware Jar, probably PA origin, second or third quarter 19th century, squat-shaped ovoid jar with footed base and semi-squared rim, the surface decorated with large splotches of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Similarly-glazed lid does not exactly fit the jar, and may be a later addition. Several base chips. Wear and some restoration to rim. Lid with light glaze wear to knob. Surface wear to midsection. H (including lid) 8 3/8".
