One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1860, ovoid-bodied pitcher with rounded foot and nicely-tooled, flaring collar, decorated with three large cobalt tulips brushed around the body. Collar decorated with brushed cobalt swags. Contact mark with chip near base. Exfoliated salt drip to side of pitcher. Wear and two chips to rim and a small chip to spout.
