Rare Glazed Redware Porringer with Coggled Decoration, attributed to Jacob Heart, Chambersburg, PA, circa 1840, ovoid-bodied porringer with rounded foot and flared rim, the midsection decorated with a coggled foliate design. Surface covered in a colorful reddish-brown lead-and-manganese glaze. Excellent condition. Minor rim wear, minor base chip, and a contact mark to handle. H 3 1/4" ; Diameter (at opening) 4 5/8".
