Two Large-Sized Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Floral Decoration, 19th century, a six-gallon jar with flared rim and elaborate cobalt tulip vine design on the front and back, attributed to E.B. Hyssong of Cassville, PA; paired with a five-gallon Eastern PA stoneware jar with swag and hanging tulip motif. Five-gallon jar in excellent condition with a tight hairline at base and minor glazed-over handle chip. Six-gallon jar with losses to underside, significant reglued piece continuing onto base, and a few rim chips.
