Glazed Redware Bank with Elaborate Form, American, possibly Galena, IL, second half 19th century, beehive-form bank with heavily-scored, rustic surface and stepped finial, the base and shoulder with crimped moldings. Surface covered in a clear lead glazed. Carved slot in underside. Pencil inscription on underside reads "GALENA". Some wear to base. Very minor glaze wear to top of finial. A few glaze flakes to underside. H 6 1/2".
