Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Mid-Atlantic origin, circa 1880, a one-gallon jar with leaf decoration, attributed to Strasburg, VA; a one-and-a-half-gallon jar with leaf decoration, attributed to R.J. Grier of Chester Co., PA; and a two-gallon jar with cobalt leaf decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA. Strasburg jar with hairlines on underside, continuing onto base, along with a minor base chip. Grier jar with a Y-shaped hairline on underside, continuing 1/2" onto base. Remmey jar with several cracks in underside, extending vertically up side of jar, a salt glob at base, a few minor nicks on a interior of rim, and two small base chips.
