Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th century, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of a bird perched on a stylized branch. Several thin sealed cracks on reverse, extending onto underside, including a 3 1/2" x 3 3/4" wedge at rim, which appears to have been reglued. Chip on interior of rim. Some bubbling to cobalt. H 8 7/8".
