Extremely Rare Ohio Redware Ring Flask, Stamped "H.T. KELLOGG," New London, Ohio, circa 1850, wheel-thrown, ring-shaped flask with squared edges and rounded spout, covered in an orange and rust-colored lead glaze. Impressed with rare H.T. Kellogg maker's mark below spout. A fine example of Midwestern redware. Provenance: Recently found in a thirty-year Maryland pottery collection. Chips and wear to spout. Three large chips and wear to edges. H 8 7/8".
